Nitro Nights from Hacksaw Gaming draws from the exciting world of street racing, especially the scenes out in Asia. If you’re a fan of movies like Fast & Furious and video games like Need for Speed, this game will be right up your street – pun intended.
It’s based around 14 paylines and Nitro symbols that trigger Burnout Mode with respins/nudges, and this feature really gets the blood pumping because of how fast the reels start to spin, and how quickly the wins can pile up. This speed factor is something I’m starting to notice in a few slots – another good example of this recently was in 12 Burning Baseballs.
Burnout Mode is carried into the three levels of free spins, and in the second level you’ll have a global multiplier added in to up the ante even further. How To Play
- Choose your bet size and start spinning.
- In the base game, land 3 or more of the same symbol on the 14 paylines to register a win.
- Land a Nitro symbol to trigger Burnout Mode where at least 5 nudges are added to the Nitrous Bar, while Multipliers and Wilds are added on to the grid in random spaces. Next, the nudges will begin, often revealing wins in quick succession.
- Land 3 FS Scatter symbols to trigger the Seoul Free Spins. Here, there’s an increased chance of Nitro symbols.
- Land 4 FS Scatter symbols to trigger the Tokyo Free Spins. On top of increased Nitro symbols, a global multiplier is introduced along with Epic Nitro symbols. If you land one of these, it’s the same concept as Burnout Mode but the global multiplier increases with every nudge.

- As is usual with modern high volatility Hacksaw games, I find myself wanting the special symbols to land more frequently. These features can feel quite sparse, leading to players inevitably buying into the various bonuses to maintain fun levels.
