Gates of Olympus is a classic high volatility slot from the masters at Pragmatic Play. In terms of gameplay it’s similar to another of Pragmatic’s successful titles, Sweet Bonanza, so if you like that, you’re sure to enjoy this.
Saying that, the atmosphere is much more dramatic here, with a ripped Zeus staring you down and occasionally throwing you some help in the form of multiplier lightning bolts. There are plenty of games with very similar themes now, but this is the original and probably the best.
Gates of Olympus uses a pays-anywhere system, so you want to land 8+ base symbols anywhere on the grid to start scoring. Like Sweet Bonanza, there’s also a cascade feature, meaning you can build up some nice chain reactions. And the cascades get even more exciting with multipliers; if there’s one anywhere on the grid, it’ll get applied to your win for that spin.
If you land 4 or more Scatter symbols, you’ll reach the bonus feature, which uses the same system, but multipliers now stack throughout the round, giving the potential for powerful wins indeed.

Gameplay
How To Play
- Choose your bet level and hit spin to start.
- The goal is to land 8+ base symbols anywhere on the grid.
- Any winning symbols drop away to be replaced in the tumble style. The spin is over when there are no more batches of winning symbols left.
- If Zeus gives you a multiplier during a winning spin, it will be applied to the win total. If you have multiple multipliers, they are added together. So a 2x and a 5x would create a 7x multiplier overall.
- Landing 4+ Scatter symbols will take you into the free spins round, or you can buy into it.
- This is similar to the base game, but now there’s a Total Multiplier that builds throughout the round. Any multipliers that are used in a win get added to the Total Multiplier, and all multiplying wins in the round apply the Total Multiplier (if one exists).
