You might have spent time with Zeus in the Greek heavens playing Gates of Olympus, but now we’re heading to a different location. Forge of Olympus transports us to the fiery workshop of Hephaestus, the Greek god of craftsmanship. Here, the god of the forge is busy hammering out weapons, and the tone is darker and more serious.

This game is very similar to Gates. In fact, the base game is almost identical. We’re on a 6 x 5 grid and the goal is to land 8 or more symbols in a scatter pays/pays anywhere style. Plus, there’s a tumble feature, and every now and then Hephaestus will send a multiplier onto the grid. With multiplier values ranging from 2x-100x, there’s not quite as much potential as Gates here.

However, landing 4 or more Scatters will take you into the bonus round, and Forge does things a little differently. There are levels to work through by landing multipliers, and each level sets parameters within which the multiplier values can fall. So the more multipliers you land, the higher their values go, and the higher your wins.

So you might recognize this gameplay from Santa’s Great Gifts; this is essentially a reskin of that, with a very different vibe!

How To Play

1. Choose your bet size and start spinning.
2. You’re looking for 8 or more of the same symbol in a pays anywhere/scatter pays format to win. Winning symbols explode off the grid to be replaced in a tumbling/cascading fashion. Multipliers on the same spin apply to the final win after all tumbles have finished. With two or more multipliers, the values add up.
3. Landing 4 or more Scatter symbols takes you to the bonus round. You can also use the ante bet to increase your chance of spinning in, or you can buy the bonus. If buying, there are 4 options for each of the 4 levels.
4. In the free spins, the aim is the same as the base game, except now you can ascend through 4 levels by landing multipliers (even if they don’t land with a win). For example, you’ll start on level 1 as standard, meaning multipliers can range from 2x-100x. Land 6 multipliers and you’ll reach level 2, where multipliers can now range from 8x-100x.
5. Landing 3 or more Scatter symbols in the bonus round will retrigger 5 more free spins.

Bonus Features

• Free spins: In this bonus round there are four levels that dictate the possible values of any multipliers. You can retrigger 5 free spins by landing 3 or more Scatter symbols on any spin.
  • If spinning in, you’ll start on level 1 where multipliers will be worth from 2x-100x. To get to level 2, you’ll need to collect 6 multipliers.
  • On level 2, multipliers will be worth from 8x-100x. To get to level 3, you’ll need to collect 5 more multipliers.
  • On level 3, multipliers will be worth from 15x-100x. To get to level 4, you’ll need to collect 4 more multipliers.
  • On level 4, multipliers will be worth from 50x-100x. There are no levels beyond this one.
• Ante bet: You can toggle a switch on or off in the base game that doubles your chance of spinning into the bonus round for 25% more of your wager.
• Buy the bonus: You can buy into the free spins, starting on any of the 4 levels. On your next spin, 4, 5, or 6 Scatters will land.
