New Slots Round Up: 3rd January – 9th January 2026

This week we have TaDa Gaming and Peter & Sons serving up a variety of slots to suit every type of player, plus a contribution from Backseat Gaming – let’s take a look!

Bunny Heist is one of two new games from Peter & Sons, and these jiggling anime ladies might get your pulse racing as soon as the visuals load. As for the gameplay, it takes place on a highly volatile 5 x 3 grid with 10 paylines and Expanding Wilds, and you’ll find two types of bonus game available too.

The first is the free spins, where Expanding Wilds become sticky, and the second is the Bonus Wheel, a novel mini game. You’ll be spinning a wheel with various layers, aiming to stay in the round for as long as possible and eventually reach the center, building up your bonus win along the way. It’s something a little different, and, as we’ve come to expect from Peter & Sons, the visuals are on point.

Now let’s get into the first of five new games from TaDa Gaming this week.

Fortune Yuri 500 comes in collaboration with famous Brazilian streamer, Yuri22, and it actually has a very similar structure to X7-Hot. The main grid in Fortune Yuri 500 is 3 x 3, but there’s an extra reel on the right that decides which multiplier will be applied to any wins that land.

There’s no true, separate bonus round, but you can land Ex NUDGE symbols on the rightmost reel from time to time, and these give you a flurry of multipliers that stack up into double digits quite easily. So this game is rather simple, but it has charm and is obviously made for fans of Yuri22.

10 Sparkling Crown 2 – another one from TaDa – isn’t going to win any awards for originality, but it is a competent fruit-themed, 5 reel slot. Building on 10 Sparkling Crown from May last year, this sequel maintains the Expanding Multiplier Wilds idea, adding in a 2x version for a bigger boost. In fact, both the Wilds tend to land quite frequently, earning the game a medium volatility rating. There’s also a Jackpot Treasure feature, allowing you to play for the four jackpot tiers, but unfortunately, I wasn’t able to spin into it once during my test session.

As I just mentioned, X7-Hot from TaDa is very similar to Fortune Yuri 500. The max win here is really low at 525x, but so is the volatility, so if you’re in the mood for plenty of (smaller) wins, this could be a good slot to try out.

Lucky Jaguar 500 is another sequel, following on from Lucky Jaguar from December 2024. The main idea is the same with its 3 x 3 grid and colorful, cartoon symbols – in fact, the whole package has more than a touch of Disney’s The Lion King about it. Whereas there was only one Wild in the original, we now have three thanks to the Multiplier Wild and the Super Wild. All in all, it’s another fairly simple title from TaDa, but the RTP is 97.00% and the max win is 20,000x, so you could definitely do worse in the stats department.

Now for the fifth TaDa game this week: Supernova. It’s clearly inspired by one of the most famous slots of all time, NetEnt’s Starburst, or maybe I should say, Starburst XXXtreme. That’s because this game emphasizes multipliers, similarly to Starburst XXXtreme.

However, TaDa adds its own twist through the ante bet (called Extra Bet), giving you the chance to double multipliers whenever a Supernova Wild lands on reels 2, 3, or 4. Like Starburst, the grid pays both left to right and right to left. So while it isn’t the most original concept, Supernova is a fun slot that delivers familiar, engaging gameplay with a multiplier-focused edge.

Rounding out this section we have Diamond Mole from Backseat Gaming, and this is another relatively simple title that won’t require much time to get to grips with. It’s a highly volatile, cluster plays slot on a 6 x 6 grid, and the main special feature is Diamonds – Multiplier Wilds whose values double every time they’re used.

The theme is cute and relaxing, but the base game is quite dry. Things do pick up in the bonus round, even if it’s the same Diamond idea, but now these Diamonds are sticky for the whole round, so their values can build up to eye-watering levels. This might have been Game of the Week if the base game was more engaging, or maybe even if there was a bonus buy to introduce a Diamond on each spin.

That being said, our Game of the Week is very similar to Diamond Mole, so let’s get into it below.

Game of the Week

It’s quite funny, because as I said above, Diamond Mole could have been great if the base game was more interesting. Well, Rust World has basically the same concept, but with a more engaging base game!

Yes, the core concept is cluster pays with Multiplier Wilds that build in value every time they’re used. However, in Rust World the increase in value is decided by how many symbols were in the cluster, and the Wilds simply land much more often. Also, the grid is a bit bigger at 7 x 7.

Peter & Sons’ attention to the visual aspect is once again present with charming cartoon graphics that have some kind of alien junkyard feel. The chiptune-style music bops along at an upbeat pace, and the wins come thick and fast. Sometimes the Wild Multipliers even explode at the end of a spin, freeing up more squares and offering a final chance at more wins.

Then, in the bonus round – you guessed it – the Wild Multipliers stick around for the duration of the feature, building up to triple digits if you’re lucky. The game felt quite generous, and I was up by the end of my test session, for what it’s worth.

Rust World is simple and to the point, but it has enough action to keep you fully engaged, and the max win of 20,000x doesn’t hurt either.
