It’s always a pleasure to welcome a new slots developer onto the scene, and lately, we’ve been seeing titles from Bullshark Games pop up here and there. Much like Backseat Gaming, they work with Hacksaw Gaming’s OpenRGS system, so some mechanics, as well as the UI, might look familiar.
Fortunately, Ancient Paws is a solid game in its own right with a good RTP (96.16%) and max win (15,000x). We join the dog adventurer mascot as he tries to line up symbols on 14 paylines from left-to-right, and you’ll be helped along by silver and gold Expanding Wilds with multipliers.
When these Expanding Wilds land on the same reel they can combine, and in the bonus feature they become sticky for the whole round but roam across the 5 x 4 grid; there’s some real potential for big wins when the grid starts to fill up with wilds.
While it’s not a completely original slot idea, it does combine already-existing features in a new way, and sometimes that’s all you need to make a great slot!
