Another week closer to Christmas and five new online slots were added to our lobby this week. There is a stark contrast of creativity and a distinct lack of it from other slot developers, although there are a few highlights worth exploring.
Floating Dragon – Year of the Snake from Pragmatic Play was an instant disappointment when we realized it was yet another disguised clone of Big Bass Bonanza, I’m not sure how many re-skins players need or want but that is exactly what this slot is. Fonzo’s Feline Fortunes is a little more creative with a feline twist but essentially it isn’t pushing any new boundaries for a game studio of this size and capability.
It is down to Relax Gaming this week to showcase a visually stunning slot in the form of Camelot Cash, whilst it is a “Book” clone, there are plenty of tweaks and stunning animations that make this a gorgeous slot to play.

Our favorite game this week is Camelot Cash from Relax Gaming. They seem to have pulled out all the stops in this visually stunning machine. With a theatre backdrop and a cartoon-esque theme, the reels come alive with winning combinations and clever animations.
While this is very obviously a “Book” style slot, there are a few tweaks to the gameplay such as re-triggers with additional scatter symbols, and some coin features that help to make this slot still enjoyable to play. The biggest negative is more likely to be found in the maths of the paytable. Generally, we expect any Book slot to be high variance, however for this release and looking at the bonus buy cost, it is fairly clear that this slot is definitely aimed at the medium variance level.
