It’s the latest Slots Round Up, this time with three new titles from Hacksaw, one of which makes it to the Game of the Week spot.
In fact, we’ll start with one of the other slots from this famous studio, and it’s Le Bunny, the latest in the ever-expanding Le series. This one is themed for Easter, but is it a ‘good bunny’ or a ‘bad bunny’?

Previously, just the mention of a new Le game would have been enough for me to start clearing space in the Game of the Week section. Well, these days it’s a little different, as this is another reskin of Le King, just like Le Santa was. Yes, it’s still great fun but we’ve seen it all before in terms of gameplay and stats – twice.
Dusk Princess, also from Hacksaw, is far more original. OK, it is part of another long-running series, following on from Cloud Princess, Rainbow Princess, and Sun Princess, but the addition of the Blessing Bar here creates a simple yet effective new core mechanic.
You’ll be looking to create clusters of 5 or more matching symbols, and as you do, you’ll fill up the Blessing Bar, landing yourself Wilds – and later on Multiplier Wilds – each time it tops out. This is enough knowledge to get you going, and it’s actually enough of a mechanic to make the game really dynamic with a nice progressive feel. Alongside the lush, anime-style visuals and excellent soundtrack, this was a close contender for Game of the Week.
Supersized from Nolimit City was another slot that just missed out on Game of the Week this time. It contains some new and novel mechanics rather than the concepts of xSplit, xWays etc. that Nolimit often relies on. The theme is very similar to Suck which also came out recently – basically a gross take on fast food culture. And the background music is another crazy banger from NLC.

The gameplay takes place on a 5 x 5 grid with a Connected Ways format, meaning wins land via any line as long as the symbols are connected horizontally or diagonally. The new mechanics I mentioned come in the form of Clone, Press, Brown Nudge Delight, and Germinator, giving the grid a very busy but fun feel. For example, Clone adds in a whole new reel when it lands, and Germinator removes the lowest-paying symbol from play. I enjoyed this game a lot!
It’s worth mentioning the two instant games this week, but only briefly: Plinko 5000 and Fortune Red Packets. To cut a long story short, Plinko 5000 by Gaming Corps is plinko but on a pinball table, while Fortune Red Packets from BGaming is basically a tower game. Maybe fun if you want a break from spinning the reels.
But back to the slots, and we’re onto Crypto Crown 40 next. Unfortunately, much like Carioca Vibes from last week, this feels like another demo that got put up by AvatarUX before it was ready. My game had ‘Alpha Version’ written next to the grid, so I’m not sure what that means, but the gameplay didn’t seem to match up with the rules. As it stands, this was a pretty dull slot with Expanding Wilds and a crypto/fruit machine theme.

Let’s round out this section with Heart of Tiki, another one from BGaming. It reminds me of the recent Tiki Thunder from Slotmill, and I much preferred that game actually. The max win of only 5,000x in Heart of Tiki doesn’t help things, although the 96.96% RTP is not bad.
Essentially, this is a slot with 50 paylines on a 5 x 5 grid and a Wild symbol that can grow from 1 x 1 all the way up to 5 x 5. Then in the free spins, the Wild is still present but as a Roaming Wild, and, again, it has the growing capability. Some players might like this, but it’s far from the most exciting slot this week.
For that, read on for our Game of the Week.

Game of the Week
Eternal Duel from Hacksaw is one of the most epic slots I’ve played in a while!

Of course, games with Zeus in will often remind players of Gates of Olympus, or maybe in this case, Zeus vs Hades – Gods of War. But whereas that second game from Pragmatic allowed you to choose between Zeus or Hades and varying volatility levels, Eternal Duel pits the two deities against each other more directly, leading to an exciting, explosive style. And there is a lot going on here.
The action plays out on a 5 x 5 grid with 19 paylines, but things are spiced up with DualReels, the mechanic made famous by Duel at Dawn. However, instead of two cowboys in a shootout, we now have Zeus versus Hades, with the winner applying their multiplier (2x-100x) to the reel-covering wild.
That’s actually mostly it for the base game, but things ramp up in the bonus round. You enter this by landing 3 or 4 FS Scatter symbols, and these Scatters function a lot like the DualReels too. They extend out and another battle is waged, with each deity holding a number of free spins this time – this is essentially how your number of free spins is decided.
Once in the bonus feature proper, you’ll see another 5 x 5 grid, this time with Reel Multipliers at the top and bottom – of course, the top row belongs to Zeus and the bottom row to Hades. Now, the values on these Reel Multipliers are used when DuelReels come into play, and you can build them up throughout the round via Relic and Cyclops symbols, which affect the numbers in different ways. But over the course of the round those numbers will generally be going up and up, leading to bigger and bigger wins.

Eternal Duel is highly volatile with an RTP of 96.42% and a max win of 15,000x, plus some nice Bonus Buy options, including one for 1,000x the wager that provides close to a whole grid of DuelReels. To be honest, you might want to turn on the BonusHunt FeatureSpins option for 3x the bet. I found it hard to spin into the bonus round naturally without this – that is my main misgiving about Eternal Duel, and it kind of applies to a lot of recent Hacksaw titles…
But if you can look past it, you have a slot that’s presented in a beautiful, epic way with plenty of rip-roaring Hacksaw-style action.
