LuckyBird has an above-average game library of 800+ titles. Sure, it’s not one of the largest game selections I’ve seen, as social casinos like Stake.us and High 5 Casino have almost 1,800 titles.
However, it does have some niche game categories like its instant win games plus live dealer games from ICONIC21. Of the 800+ games, I found that most were video slots, and then there is the LuckyBird Originals section, which contains various provably fair games.
One major omission I noticed was the lack of any Pragmatic Play slots. LuckyBird doesn’t work with this legendary software developer, which I found disappointing. I couldn’t find any Megaways slots either, which was a big letdown.

I love arcade games and instant win games so I spent 30 minutes testing the LuckyBird Original game HiLo. This is a provably fair arcade game where you essentially have to guess the outcome of the next card drawn.
For example, the first card might be a Jack, you would then have to bet whether the next card will have a higher or lower value. You can cashout after a single bet, or try to string together multiple correct guesses – each time your payout multiplier increases. It’s incredibly simple to play once you get the hang of the interface and it has the potential for some big wins too.
I started with 1013 Gold Coins and played with 5 GC per guess. I tried various strategies to see what worked. For example, for the first 10 minutes I cashed out after my first correct guess each time – even if the next guess was obvious. This resulted in steady profits, but I felt like I was missing out on some bigger combos.
After that, I became a little more ambitious and pushed my luck and managed to string together some 3 and 4 guess combos with excellent payouts. It felt like the sweet spot was 2-3 correct guesses and I was consistently hitting these. After 30 minutes of play time I felt like I was pretty damn good at the game and my final balance was 1055.53 GC – not bad!
I found 800+ video slots at LuckyBird, and this includes an excellent mix of classic fruit machine-style slots together with epic modern slots packed with bonus features. I had immense fun testing the different slots – particularly the games from 3 Oaks Gaming, as they are one of my favorite slot developers.
As I mentioned, there are some glaring omissions from the slot types/providers, though, with no Pragmatic games or any Megaways slots. I think these two options would diversify the slot library greatly. Nonetheless, I had fun playing Coin Up Lightning, Black Wolf 2, and Aztec Fire 2 from 3 Oaks.
There’s an interesting section of “classic slots” too, which are developed by TigerSpin. These are essentially digital replicas of retro fruit machines you can find in brick-and-mortar casinos. Despite their simplicity, I had a blast playing Slots of Oz, 777 Slots, and Candy Slots – there’s just something endearing about the lively music, classic slot symbols, and simple pay mechanics. Just be wary that these games have a minimum spin value of 100 GC or 0.01 SC!

I have heard of all these developers, played their games before, and they are all licensed by leading authorities such as the UK Gambling Commission. That being said, 3 Oaks Gaming produces some fantastic video slots including a variety of games using the hold and win mechanic. The in-house LuckyBird games surprised me – they are pretty simplistic in terms of graphics, animations, and sounds, but the gameplay is incredibly fun and titles like HiLo and Dice are addictive. Their games are all provably fair and if you click on the “fairness” link in the bottom right-hand corner of a game you can see the RNG hash seed.
I found a range of seasonal and themed slot tournaments when creating this LuckyBird review. For example, at the time of writing this, there was a LuckyBird x BGaming collaborative tournament called Halloween Dynamic Drops.
This was not a “tournament” in the traditional sense, but more of a random prize drop. You had to play in SC game mode on any BGaming slots and you could randomly trigger one of the SC prizes. The total prize pool was 15,000 SC, with the top prize being 1,000 SC. I like these tournaments as even at the lower end there were 1,000x 5 SC prizes.

Although I couldn’t find an AMOE bonus, LuckyBird Casino has multiple ways to rack up free GC and SC including some inventive ways I’ve not seen at any other sweepstakes casino:

- Faucet – The Faucet is a type of reload bonus designed to give you a push when your SC balance hits 0. You can only claim this when you have an SC balance of 0, and the amount you get increases depending on how active you are in the chat and playing games.

The second first purchase task gives you a 200,000 GC, 20 SC, and 10 treasure chest bonuses if you spend $10 on GC, and wager 3,000 in SC – this offer expires after 10 days though.
- Referral scheme – The referral scheme at LuckyBird is known as the affiliate scheme and you get a progressive commission amount based on how many people you refer and your affiliate level. At level 1 you get a 1% commission for SC wagered on LuckyBird Original Games, and a 3% commission for SC wagered on third-party games. The maximum commission you can earn is 60%.
- VIP program – The LuckyBird VIP program has 15 tiers and you have to wager SC to level up. The starter level requires a 7,000 SC wager and as you level up you get an improved login bonus, rakeback, and a range of purchasing bonuses. The rakeback starts at 5% for Level 1 and finishes at 25% for Level 15.

Redemption
Your Sweeps Coins can be redeemed for crypto cash prizes and there is no gift card option. Although this is disappointing, it’s made up for the fact that crypto cash prize redemptions start from 30 SC which is much lower than most sweepstakes casinos where most have a minimum of 50/75/100 SC.
From experience, I found that redemptions took between 1-24 hours and this is again much faster than most platforms as you often have to wait 2-5 business days. There is a redemption charge but this varies depending on the cryptocurrency you use, for example, the Dogecoin fee is 1.5 DOGE.

User Experience
I really like the design and functionality of LuckyBird, although it has some room for improvement. The style and color scheme are simple, and it puts the emphasis on navigation and features as opposed to flashy graphics.
You can maximize the sidebar, and this gives you links to all the different game categories, which makes trawling through the 800+ slots simple. You can also switch easily between Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin mode by clicking the relevant coin at the top – your current balance is then displayed at the side.
There is a LuckyBird app for Android and iOS devices too, but you download and install this directly via the website – not from the Google Play Store or App Store. I tested the app on my Samsung Galaxy, and it has a fantastic responsive layout, and all the slots I tested worked fine.
Customer Support
I found the customer support at LuckyBird hit and miss – there is a live chat but you have to go through a heap of steps to actually get connected (and now there isn’t even an actual person to reply), and then the response isn’t instant. I think LuckyBird has incredible potential but it still needs a little polish to be one of the best sweepstakes casinos. It really excels at unique features and this is one of the standout points for me. For example, you have the community chat, chat grab bonuses, treasure chest loot boxes, and Faucet reload bonus. These features are rarely available at other sites and it just makes the experience at LuckyBird more exciting.
The variety of bonuses is really good and I think it’s on par with other social casinos like WOW Vegas and Stake.us in terms of bonus variety and availability. It does need to improve its welcome bonus though as 3,000 GC and 0.98 SC is quite poor compared to other sites.
For games, if you want more variety then High 5 Casino, Stake.us, Jackpota, and DingDingDing all have more options. However, LuckyBird does have one of the best instant win/arcade game selections available.
Another superb area LuckyBird excels is redemptions. If you are OK with crypto payments, the 30 SC minimum redemption is amazing for crypto cash prizes, and this is complemented by the fact that redemptions are usually processed instantly – hardly any other sweepstakes casinos do this.
