General Ratings
Legendz Casino
Silver Swan Ltd launched Legendz in November 2024 as a social casino plus sportsbook. Legendz uses the standard two sweepstakes currencies of Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins, and offers redemptions into cash or gift cards for the latter.
If you like to play simply for fun, you can use the Gold Coins, but if you’d like to win real prizes, you should play with Sweeps Coins.
It isn’t the first sweepstakes casino with a sportsbook, but Legendz offers a solid experience if you’re the kind of gamer who likes to combine these two things. The site is still new and by no means perfect, but it shows a lot of promise, and in this review, we’ll go over all the details with you.
Pros
- Casino and sportsbook experience on the same platform
- Available in English and Spanish
- Sports betting, live dealer and bingo games set them apart
- Partnered with many respected developers
Cons
- Time limit of only an hour on first purchase bonus
- Both welcome bonuses are on the small side
- Questions around customer support
Bonus Details
Please remember, as with any sweepstakes site, you can play at Legendz without making a purchase. One reason being, you’ll be welcomed onto the platform with a no deposit bonus. To be honest, it’s only 500 GC + 3 SC, so it’s not the biggest out there, but you can use it to start playing.
The other main promo is the first purchase bonus, applied when you grab your first coin bundle. It’s a 10% discount that’s only valid in your first hour after signing up, so you have to be fast if you want to take advantage. It’s also not very big at 10%, and I’ll factor both of these bonuses into my ratings later on.
Restricted States
In terms of location, there are many US states you can game from, as long as you’re over 18 (or the age of legal majority in your area).
To be specific, you can’t play at Legendz from these seven states:
- Idaho
- Michigan
- Montana
- North Dakota
- Connecticut
- Nebraska
- Ohio
- Washington
- Tennessee
- New York
- Kentucky
- West Virginia
- Nevada
If you’re in Florida, also bear in mind that the maximum redemption value for winnings on any one spin/play is 5,000 SC. This is not limited to other states.
Legendz Casino Games
When it comes to games, Legendz has a library of just over 500 currently, and the vast majority are slots, which is normal for a sweeps casino. However, within this category, you’ll find various formats, like Classic Reels, Megaways, Cascading, Hold & Win, and more.
As a new brand, we can forgive it for not having the biggest library, plus new titles are being added all the time. For example, one of the newest games is called Cluck It, and that’s part of the Legendz Originals series, which you can’t play anywhere else (as the name implies).
There are plenty of other renowned developers here too, like Pragmatic Play, BGaming, and 3 Oaks, to name a few. This means you’ll get access to some of the hottest new slots globally, like Big Bass Bonanza 3 Reeler, the freshest title in the popular Big Bass series from Pragmatic.
Legendz Game Overview | |
---|---|
Total Games | 500+ |
Slot Types | Classic, Megaways, Tumble/Cascading Reels, Hold & Win, Buy the Bonus |
Other Game Types | Table Games, Live Dealers, Slingo, Sportsbook, Plinko, Dice, Mines, Coin Flip, Rock Paper Scissors, Bingo |
Software Providers | 25+ |
For my test play, I went with one of Legendz’ most popular slots currently, Coin Up: Hot Fire by 3 Oaks. The aesthetic and mechanics here feel straightforward compared to the deep, character-driven worlds of many modern slots – maybe that’s why it’s been a hit. But even though it’s simple, it’s presented well, with the screen setting alight with fire impressively when you hit big, for example.
The base game has a small 3×3 grid, but you can’t actually win anything until you reach the bonus round, and you trigger this by landing any three symbols on the middle row. In the bonus spins, you bring in whatever was on the grid when you triggered it, and then look to add more coins, multipliers, and jackpot symbols. More coins will replenish your three bonus spins too. This leads up to the moment of truth when the game calculates your winnings at the end of the round; it’s a unique rhythm but a lot of fun.
With a starting balance of 1000 GC, I opted for some 2.5 GC spins to begin, and it took me 14 spins (or 35 GC) to trigger the bonus round. I didn’t land any special symbols here, just more coins, meaning I won 20 GC in total. Then it was only three more spins till I was back in bonus land, and this time I landed plenty of multipliers and special symbols to win 87.50 GC, leaving me 67.50 GC up overall.
Things continued in this pattern, and I even landed a Mini Jackpot coin at one point, so I upped my wager to 10 GC to see what would happen. Unfortunately, I then ended up draining my balance fast, but I’d landed a Sticky Coin on the middle row, meaning I was bound to hit the bonus round soon, or so I thought.
It actually took me about 80 spins, and I was all the way down at a balance of 185 GC when it struck, and then the bonus only paid back 180 GC… This game was showing its highly volatile side, and when 30 minutes was up, I ended my session down overall at 505 GC. If only I’d have wagered 10 GC from the start when I was doing better.
Legendz does feature site-wide, progressive jackpots, but playing a slot like Coin Up: Hot Fire will offer you a game-specific jackpot too. Just bear in mind the RTP is slightly below average at 95.75%, and it’s highly volatile, as we’ve seen.
Legendz’ bread and butter is slots, and though its library is still new and relatively small, the curation has been handled well – I never felt stuck for choice.
With some of the biggest studios on board, you have access to titles like Big Bass Bonanza 3 Reeler, Sugar Rush 1000, and Gates of Olympus 1000 from Pragmatic Play, or Coin Up, 3 Hot Chillies, and Fishin’ Bear from 3 Oaks.
You’ll find a handful of titles eligible for site–wide jackpots, if that’s your thing, and the way you can filter games is great too. There are plenty of categories, including developer–specific ones, and a Recent tab to easily revisit any favorites.
Legendz has more non–slot games than many other sweepstakes casinos I’ve played at; I’m talking live dealer games like roulette, baccarat, and blackjack supplied by Live88. Then we have plenty of Slingo variants, plus some welcome originals like Mines, Plinko, Dice, Coin Flip, and Rock Paper Scissors.
And we can’t forget the sports betting side to Legendz which is a massive part of its appeal. Legendz isn’t the first to combine casino and sports in a social casino format, as sites like Kickr have been doing it for a while, but the list of what you can wager on is impressive. That includes the obvious choices like NBA, NFL, NHL and baseball, as well as more minor leagues for those sports, all the way through to soccer, e–sports and niche sports like surfing and alpine skiing.
And in terms of placing your wagers or plays, you can choose from:
- Parlays
- Parlay Booster
- Single Game Parlay (SGP)
- If–Play
- Event Builder
- Live Playing
- Outright and more
With just over 500 games and 25+ developers on board, you might think that each studio contributes around 15 titles, but it’s not split evenly like this. The bigger studios like Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw, and 3 Oaks provide the lion’s share of games on Legendz, and this makes perfect sense because they have more of the popular titles.
However, I shouldn’t discount the smaller developers, as they often take the quality-over-quantity approach or provide fun licensed collaborations. For example, Legendz provides access to PopNoir from the popular PopWins series from Avatar UX, and Gaming Corps gives us Snoop’s High Rollers if you’re a fan of Snoop Dogg.
As I mentioned earlier, Live88 provides some great live dealer games, too, and Gaming Realms contributes 12 Slingo titles for a very healthy bingo slots selection. Yes, Legendz definitely has Slingo fans covered with titles like Slingo Deal Or No Deal and Slingo Space Invaders.
There is plenty going on at Legendz in terms of jackpots/tournaments and races, both as standard and seasonal promotions.
For example, around Christmas time, Legendz offered races on Playson games that lasted two hours each, plus a tournament jackpot of 5000 SC on the same Playson titles. There’s also an ongoing races leaderboard, where top finishers win up to 100 free spins daily.
The best way to keep track of upcoming seasonal promotions is following Legendz on social media, as they are always announced there. More details on jackpots and race leaderboards can be accessed once logged in too.
Legendz recently implemented bingo rooms, adding yet another string to its bow. The software is supplied by Evoplay, and you can choose to play with either GC or SC.
For now, it seems you can join four different rooms from the lobby:
- Legendz Fun Lounge (50-ball)
- Sports Fun Lounge (90-ball)
- Sunset Fun Lounge (75-ball)
- Journey Fun Lounge (90-ball)
The UI works, but it can feel a little basic and bland. You can play some slots off to the side while you wait for the next game to begin (new games start every few minutes), but it’d be good to see some extras added, such as a chat feature, to make this a better and more social experience.

Promotions
Bonuses are often the thing that attracts new customers through the door of a sweepstakes casino. They give you currency to start playing with and (usually) an offer to purchase some coins too.
Let’s take an in–depth look at how bonuses work on Legendz.
Bonus | Offer Info |
---|---|
Sign Up Bonus | 500 GC + 3 SC |
Welcome Bonus | 10% off in the first hour on selected packages |
Daily Login Bonus | Up to 1.5 SC |
AMOE | 3 SC |
Referral Bonus | 50 SC for referring three friends |
VIP | Yes |
Wagering Requirements | 1x |
- Sign Up Bonus: As touched on earlier, 500 GC + 3 SC is not the biggest sign up bonus compared with competitors. For example, 50,000 GC + 5 SC from Yay Casino is a much better offer. The lack of GC in Legendz’ bonus is quite remarkable, and it’s a little strange for a sweepstakes casino to hold back on giving them.
- Welcome Bonus: Combine the above with a timed period to take advantage of the first purchase offer, and it feels like Legendz is pushing you heavily towards buying coins. Some players also need time to assess whether they like a site before dropping any cash there. Basically, you have exactly one hour to buy any of the coin packages between $4.99 and $199.99, and you’ll receive 10% off the price, which, again, is really not that great. I know this because some competitors will offer first–purchase bonuses that give you in the region of 100% free coins.
- Daily Login Bonus: On the flipside, every 24 hours there’s a fresh chance to win some SC, and if you get lucky, you could max out at 1.5 SC daily here, which is great. To collect, you get 10 spins on a basic, Legendz Original slot game and each spin could net you 0.15 SC.
- Referral Bonus: Another promotion that’s on the generous side is the refer–a–friend offer. You do need to get three friends to sign up and have them spend at least $5 though. Until that happens, you won’t get anything, but when it does, you can expect 50 SC in your account.
- AMOE: There are detailed instructions on Legendz’ Sweepstakes Rules page for how to get 3 free SC by mailing in a SC request card.
- Social Media Competitions: If you visit Legendz’ pages on Instagram or Facebook, you’ll be able to enter competitions to win free coins when they take place. They don’t seem to happen that often, but maybe the frequency will pick up in the future. Generally you just need to like, follow and comment to enter.
- Jackpots/Races: As mentioned in the last section, you can win free coins and spins by winning jackpots or finishing near the top of time–limited leaderboards.
- VIP Program: The Legendz VIP Guest Club features five tiers that players can progress through (pictured below). Like most VIP programs, it rewards you with points for playing games and placing wagers, helping you climb the ranks. As you advance, you’ll unlock perks such as increased daily rewards, exclusive promotions, dedicated account managers, and access to special gifts and events reserved for top-tier members.
- Playthrough/Expiration: It’s worth bearing in mind that SC needs to be played through once to be eligible for redemption. Also they’re only valid for 60 days from the date you last logged in, otherwise they will automatically expire.

Legendz Cashier
For purchases and redemptions, Legendz has more options than just the bare minimum, so you’re likely to find both a payment and redemption method that works for you. Just remember that no purchase is necessary – you should be able to get by with the bonus amounts on offer.
Purchases
If you want to purchase coin bundles of GC and SC, you can use a credit or debit card, and Legendz accepts cards from all the major providers (that’s Visa, Mastercard, and Discover). Payments will be instant, so you should receive your coins straight away.
The e–wallet, Skrill is also an option, which is nice to see. In a similar way to cards, payment should be instant.
Finally you can also purchase with bank transfer, but of course this will take longer to process.
By the way, you won’t have to fill out any verification to get coins – it’ll be the same as making a regular e–commerce purchase online. Also, no fees will be charged by Legendz.
In the table below you can see the coin bundles available as default, but you can also select a custom amount, which is welcome. Basically, you should multiply your amount in dollars by 100 to get the GC total you’ll receive, and the SC is the same amount in dollars plus 1 cent.
Price | Gold Coins | Sweeps Coins |
---|---|---|
$4.99 | 500 | 5 |
$9.99 | 1,000 | 10 |
$24.99 | 2,500 | 25 |
$49.99 | 5,000 | 50 |
$99.99 | 10,000 | 100 |
$199.99 | 20,000 | 200 |
$399.99 | 40,000 | 400 |
$599.99 | 60,000 | 600 |
$799.99 | 80,000 | 800 |
$999.99 | 100,000 | 1,000 |
$2499.99 | 250,000 | 2,500 |
$4999.99 | 500,000 | 5,000 |
Redemption
If you want to redeem your SC, you’re able to turn them into something more spendable in the real world via a bank transfer or a Prizeout gift card. The second option here has the benefits of being much faster (taking 24 hours max) and you can redeem from as low as 50 SC. The digital gift card will be sent to the email address you have registered on your account, but, of course, the downside is you can only spend it on the brands in the Prizeout scheme.
Therefore most players will want to redeem into real cash instead, which is possible using your bank account. This can take longer to process, up to 5 business days, and the minimum redemption amount is 100 SC.
Neither method incurs any fees, but you will need to verify your identity with a KYC–type process. Also, you can only make one redemption request per day, and you are limited to a maximum of $10,000.
Payment Options: Overview

Visa | Yes | No | Instant |
Mastercard | Yes | No | Instant |
Discover | Yes | No | Instant |
Skrill | Yes | No | Instant |
Bank transfer | Yes | Yes | 1–5 business days |
Prizeout gift card | No | Yes | Within 24 hours |

Legendz Background
Now comes an important question: is the site to be trusted? This is especially pertinent when we’re dealing with a relatively new platform, like Legendz. We have a few different metrics at our disposal to gauge whether we should spend our time and money here, so let’s take a look.
Is Legendz Legit?
There is little info on Silver Swan Ltd available, and it’s likely only based in Cyprus because of the region’s favorable laws around casino enterprises. However, I do know that this operation is headed up by three Swedish founders: Henrik Persson Ekdahl, Mikael Harstad, and George Westin. Between them, they’ve been involved in successful tech and iGaming endeavors, so they come with a strong pedigree in this field.
Fortunately, I can see all the typical hallmarks of a legitimate sweepstakes casino at Legendz. There is an Alternative Method of Entry available, and it’s possible for users to play without making a purchase. The site operates using SSL technology to keep personal and financial data secure, and it also employs KYC–type processes for identity verification. Legendz also follows state-level laws and restrictions to operate legally in the US.
Although the site operates in the US exclusively, it’s not unusual to see a sweeps site run by an international team. And it’s worth noting that payments and redemptions are handled by Platinum Panther LLC, which is registered in the US.

As of yet, there are no sister sites to Legendz, but the founders have been involved in related ventures such as Hero Gaming and Gaming Innovation Group.

User Experience
When it comes to online platforms like Legendz, UX is a key factor that can make or break the entire experience. A well-designed, intuitive interface ensures that players can navigate the site easily, find what they need, and enjoy their time without unnecessary frustration. Accessibility, readability, and functionality are essential components, whether you’re placing a wager or exploring responsible gaming options.
Legendz uses a dark blue, purple and white color scheme, and it works well on the whole. Most things are clear and legible, except for one area in the sportsbook section when you go to place your wager – I found the choice of small purple text on a dark background quite hard to read.
There is no Legendz app available currently, but that’s OK when the site is fully mobile–optimized. Basically, you can play from the web browser on any smartphone, including on desktop and tablet too.
It’s great to see Legendz offering two language options as well: English and Spanish. Not all sites do this, but it certainly opens up the experience to more players.
Customer Support
There are a few options available for support on Legendz, with a couple of caveats. One is that the live chat is only available for a certain time period, which is less than ideal. Also I can see there’s an FAQ section on the site, but it’s not populated with any information yet.
Then there is an email address available to send questions to, but I tried this and I’m still waiting for a response, which is quite surprising. You could try messaging on Instagram and Facebook too, but I can’t guarantee you’ll get a response.
Channel | Info | Response Time |
---|---|---|
Live Chat | Available 09:00 – 00:00 CET | Instant |
Virtual Assistant | Automated responses | Instant |
support@legendz.com | Days | |
FAQ Page | Not live | N/A |
Social Media | Instagram and Facebook | Days |
I found the page on responsible gaming offers plenty of helpful information though. There are useful tips on playing safely, and links to organisations that can help you if you’re struggling.
You can also set manual purchase limits for yourself on the platform with the following tools:
- Purchase limits
- Time out period
- Reality check
Legendz also offers the option to implement a timed exclusion for you if you’d rather email in, or you can request a full and permanent account closure. You’ll be unsubscribed from receiving any marketing communications too.

SweepsPlays Thoughts
After reading the mission statement from the Legendz founders, I can see they’re trying to make a big impact in the sweepstakes market. That feat is getting tougher and tougher as things become more crowded, but with the fairly comprehensive nature of their site, Legendz is set up for success.
That’s because the platform does go above and beyond in certain areas. For a start, it has both casino and sportsbook areas (like SportsMillions), plus live dealer games and bingo too! Then there are the two language options (like JefeBet), and a nice array of payment/redemption methods. Also, the selection of developers and games is top class. This all means it’s already ahead of many competitors in some ways.
However, I feel it’s lacking in some of the foundational areas. It seems it’s having difficulties around the FAQs and basic customer support, and the two welcome bonuses really aren’t anything to shout about. For its own sake, it’s vital to improve these two areas as a new site in order to attract a solid customer base. Competitors like High 5 and WOW Vegas have it beat on welcome bonuses for sure, as do some of the smaller sweepstakes sites.
To conclude, if you’re willing to look past a few flaws, you could have a great time here, and potentially watch the growth of a new sweeps site that’s serious about leaving its mark. That’s especially true if you like sports betting and want to try it in a social format.
