The game I chose to play for this test was not one of the casino’s newest slots but an online slot with a 96.79% RTP from BGaming called Sweet Rush Megaways that was released in 2023.
Sweet Rush Megaways comes with 6 reels, 11 paying symbols, and a relatively limited betting range of 0.10 to 20 GC or SC, but an astounding 117,649 ways to win and a maximum win of 12,960x your bet. Special features like wilds with multipliers, which become sticky wilds during the Free Spins bonus round, along with the Megaways mechanic are what make the potential win so large.
Test 1
After playing for about 30 minutes, taking 150 spins with a bet size of 1 GC, I found myself down 81 coins and decided to quit. Most of my winning spins did not even cover my bet size, and my largest single spin was 20 coins, which did not come close to erasing the deficit. Most importantly, I failed to trigger the Free Spins bonus round. To do so, three or more gift box scatter symbols need to land simultaneously anywhere on the reels, but that didn’t happen. In short, my initial experience playing this slot was a lot more like a slow burn than a much-anticipated “sugar rush”.

Test 3
Ordinarily, I shy away from the “buy the bonus” option because it is such an expensive proposition. However, the 100x my bet cost was only a little more than what I was down when I triggered the bonus round in my second test, so I decided to go for it.
This allowed me to bypass the base game completely and move to the bonus round immediately. However, only three scatter symbols landed on the reels, so I received 8 Free Spins rather than 12. No problem.
Once again, by the third spin, I had sticky wilds on all three middle reels, and soon afterward, 2x win multipliers were on all three reels, too. The amazing result was not only a long succession of “Big Wins” and “Mega Wins” but also two “Super Mega Wins!”
But even that win paled compared to what happened on the last Free Spin.

I found navigating the website somewhat of a challenge, so I’d say the user interface could do with some tweaks. Because JackpotRabbit Casino is still relatively new with no sister sites, I regard it as a work in progress.
It has some pros, for sure, like the large library of quality games – it already beats some other sweeps casinos in terms of pure numbers. There’s also a generous sign-up bonus that goes above and beyond the likes of Mega Bonanza and PlayFame.
However, there are multiple cons that require improvement if JackpotRabbit wants to compete with big sites like McLuck and Stake.us. The sweepstakes market is an incredibly competitive landscape, and if you don’t get the basics right, players can easily walk.
Every site is allowed its honeymoon period, but JackpotRabbit really needs to look at improvements to the UI that would allow us to see descriptions and stats for each game. We’d also like to see some information on responsible gaming, as the sweepstakes industry becomes more conscious about its relationship with customers. This is just basic stuff.
