New Slots Round Up: 28th March – 3rd April 2026

5 new slots grace our screens this week, mostly with a few tweaks to some classic mechanics.

Roman Glory from Peter & Sons leans on the ‘3 pot’ concept that we’ve been seeing a lot – maybe too much – of lately. Normally I wouldn’t spend much time with games like these, but I have a soft spot for Peter & Sons’ unique visual/animation style, so I’ll always give this studio’s games a go.

The base game is pretty simple, with 40 paylines on the 5 x 4 grid, and often with Roman-themed games, they’re based around gladiatorial combat or war, but this one seems to be centered around hunting in the woods? I say that because the background is a woodland setting and the 3 ‘pots’ are a Bull, Bear, and Boar.

Each can be triggered randomly, taking the player into a different type of hold and win-style game. The Bull’s game is the Infinity variant where the grid resets with each spin, while multipliers can land to boost wins; the Bear’s game (Fireball) allows for grid expansion as you land symbols; and the Boar’s game (Multiplier) awards a random multiplier on each spin. All things considered, it’s one of my favorite 3 pot games of all those I’ve played.

Crypto Crown 20 is a strange development from the AvatarUX studio. Usually games get bigger and better as a series progresses, but we had Crypto Crown 40 last month and so the newer 20 version might feel like a downgrade.

The main differences I can see are: the grid has shrunk, the amount of paylines has dropped (from 40 to 20), and there’s now a bonus buy option. Overall, it’s still a rather basic game where you’re trying to land wins of 3 symbols or more with the help of Expanding Wilds. There’s also the Jackpot Mini Game, but this still feels quite dry, all things considered.

In Tiki Elements, BGaming revisits the Tiki theme it recently used on Heart of Tiki from February, and this new game uses the doubling square multiplier mechanic first made popular by Sugar Rush in 2022 – the idea seems to be having a resurgence of late. We’ve seen it in Junkyard Kings 2, Sugar Merge Up, and Recycle Riches, to name a few recent slots (two of those from BGaming, no less).

Maybe the trend was given more attention by Nolimit City‘s Duck Hunters, which ended up being one of the most popular slots of last year. Either way, in Tiki Elements, a couple of other ideas have been added in, fortunately. It’s still a cluster pays game, but between tumbles, Booster and Destroyer symbols can land – the former boosts all multipliers on-screen, while the latter removes all low-paying symbols. There’s also the appearance of a Sticky Wild to look out for. RTP sits at 97%, which is nice, and Tiki Elements could be fun for a few spins if you’re a fan of this style.

Rounding out this section, we have Le Digger, the latest iteration in Hacksaw‘s flagship series. By my counting, this is the 10th Le game, and some players may well be getting tired of Smokey Le Bandit by now. However, Le Digger does innovate rather than completely relying on the same old ideas we’ve seen before.

The name here should you a clue as to how this works: Smokey is working as an archaeologist and he’s digging under the grid to help you score wins. Yes, each square has 3 ‘layers’, and by landing wins on it, you uncover the next layer, then once you reach the bottom, you’ll find Coins, Clovers, Diamonds, and Collector symbols. As you can see there are threads connected to the previous games, including the highlighted squares idea and the symbols used. Sticks of Dynamite also play a role in Le Digger, helping you blast through layers in quick time over a 2 x 2 or 3 x 3 area.

There are 3 bonus rounds too, and this is where you start to see the screen fill up with Coins, creating big wins. As a medium volatility slot, the base game isn’t going to pay out massive numbers too often, so you’ll be hoping for those FS symbols to trigger the free spins, or – of course – you can buy your way in via the Bonus Buy option. Overall, I really enjoyed Le Digger. I always appreciate when a theme interacts well with the mechanics of a game, and it’s great to see the raccoon isn’t out of new ideas just yet.

And it’s time for another square multiplier cluster pays game à la Sugar Rush! Fortunately, it’s in the hands of Print Studios, so you know there’s going to be at least a twist of innovation too.

This game actually reminds me of Print’s Reapers from 2022 – one of the most groundbreaking and complex slots you could ever hope to play. Phantom Pulse won’t require you to learn as many complicated rules to enjoy it, but it does share a cosmic/futuristic feel and a pumping dance music soundtrack.

The core of this 96.40% RTP slot is, as I said, a cluster pays game with doubling multipliers on squares as wins take place over and over again. Also, Phantom Pulse does a great job of pointing out when those multipliers have been used in a win – something not all slots in this style manage.

But, as I said earlier, we’ve seen so many games like this lately, so what sets this one apart? First we have the Morphing Clusters idea, where one type of symbol is assigned the Morphing ability on each spin – if you land a cluster of these symbols, it will take one of the surrounding symbols and transform into it. Basically this creates the possibility to quickly expand the cluster size, and therefore up your win and boost the resulting multipliers too.

We also have the Pulse Bombs: Zone Pulse and Radial Pulse. These features land randomly at the end of a spin and refresh affected squares while upping the multiplier. Between Morphing Clusters and Pulse Bombs, there’s enough to give this slot its own flow and feel.

As you probably guessed, the bonus round maintains the mechanics from the base game while making sure the multipliers persist, meaning they can build up to huge numbers by the end of the feature. So while it’s not the most original Print Studios title, it is a creative twist on a mechanic that seems to be back in vogue, and with its high volatility and 20,000x max win, Phantom Pulse is certainly capable of producing some big wins.
