New Slots Round Up: 17th January – 23rd January 2026

This week’s New Slots Round Up is a case of quality over quantity featuring only five new titles, but three of them are excellent – let’s dig in.

Beast Gains slot bonus game

Beast Gains is the latest from Relax Gaming and its long-time collaborator, CasinoGrounds. You might know that when these two get together, they produce complex, all ways pays slots with a cast of colorful, cartoon animals, and this one is no different. In fact, Beast Gains is a clever mashup of Beast Mode and Net Gains, so you’ll find features from both.

We’ve got the bonus round where you get to pick from three options: Mystery Symbols, Multiplier Ladder, and Coin Collection. There’s also the free spins gamble, where you can win enhanced spins or risk losing it all. A new innovation arrives in the form of Feature Trail too, offering various benefits on a conveyor belt that moves toward you each time you achieve a tumble. Beast Gains is rich and will take some time to learn, but it’s well worth it. The max win of 25,000x isn’t too shabby either.

You could think of Taco Hell from Popiplay as an imitator of the famous Big Bass series, except instead of Fish Money symbols you have Peppers, and instead of the Fisherman as a collect symbol, it’s a Wild Cauldron. There are also two unlockable rows in the base game here. Unlocking them is easy – just click the arrow next to each row – and this increases the amount of paylines, and the bet slightly. While it’s quite derivative of Big Bass at its core, there are a few tweaks applied in Taco Hell, and I will say the visuals look really nice. Also, the RTP is 98.15%, and that’s pretty hard to beat these days.

Monopoly Tapcards is the latest release in Big Time Gaming‘s Tapcards series. It’s not really a slot, but a “tap and reveal adventure” according to the provider, so you’re essentially looking to land 3 or more matching symbols anywhere on the grid, which is capable of being 4 x 4 or 16 squares at max capacity, but each card brings a different configuration. It feels somewhere in-between a slot and a scratchcard, so if that sounds like your bag, give it a go.

hot ross slot

Hot Ross is the new slot from Hacksaw, and it’s nothing to do with David Schwimmer’s character from Friends. No, this is a sequel to RIP City, one of Hacksaw’s most legendary slots which was released three years ago. Ross is the name of the cat character, and while the mouse, Maxx had his own sequel last year in the form of Rad Maxx, it’s now the turn of Ross, and this game is more firmly based on the mechanics of RIP City, unlike Rad Maxx.

The core gameplay is landing wins on the 19 paylines, and these wins are often created by the cat face expanding wilds. The main new feature for Hot Ross is the Hot Ro$$ symbol, which jumps up to the top of the reel before extending, giving you more bang for your buck. You’ll also find plenty of high-flying bonus buys, so you can really ratchet up the volatility compared to the original. The max win is improved at 15,000x too.

Now let’s get onto our insane Game of the Week below.

Game of the Week

12 Burning Baseballs by Print Studios has to be one of the most adrenaline-inducing slots in existence right now. OK, the base game is fairly standard, but the bonus game borrows its mechanic from the likes of Joker Troupe, where landing a special symbol (the Nicole symbol) pumps a meter to move you up through various levels.

Each ’round’ is ten seconds long, so the goal is to hit as many Nicole symbols as possible within the time limit to stay in the game. Then, the higher the level you achieve, the faster the reels rotate, to the point where it’s futile to even try and follow.

The slot is set in a gritty, urban environment, full of trains, graffiti, and…baseball. Yes, the main character, Nicole has a barbed wire bat and she’s looking out for the titular Burning Baseball symbols – these are really the focus of this game. While there are 10 standard paylines along with low and high-paying symbols, it’s the Burning Baseballs that bring the real fun.

On the left of the screen is a meter showing the various rewards in store when you land 3 – 12 Baseballs. 3 will give you a 1x win, 4 will give you a 5x win, 5 = 10x, and 6 = 25x. Then when you land 7 or more you’ll kick off the Blazing Train bonus. This follows the flow I mentioned at the top, and the higher your level, the more Baseballs will land, gradually building your wins up, sometimes to insane amounts.

Once you’ve moved up a few levels, the speed and frantic nature of this slot has to be seen to be believed. It gets to the point where the reels are essentially a blur, and you’ll just be checking the meter on the left of the screen to see highlighted wins, while also keeping an eye on the meter on the right tracking Nicole symbols.

12 Burning Baseballs bonus game

There are a couple of other features, like the Big Baseball Crew round, which is essentially Hold & Win, and Home Run Spins where Nicole can randomly swing and try to hit a Baseball in the base game – if she’s successful, you could trigger the Blazing Train Bonus.

Print is always on point with its visuals, animations, and music, and 12 Burning Baseballs is no exception. As for the gameplay, it resurrects an underused but exciting mechanic and pushes it to full effect. There’s even a Hall of Fame where you can track your progress and biggest wins, unlocking new skins for Nicole.

The RTP is 96.31%, the max win is 20,000x, and simply put: this is one slot you simply have to try out this weekend!
