New Slots Round Up: 15th August – 21st August 2026

It’s another busy week for new slot releases, with plenty of familiar ideas alongside a few games that try something a little different. We’ve got pigs, monsters, doctors, mining, 3 pot games (we can’t escape these now), and even a game called Triple Nipple. So yeah, there’s quite a lot to get through – let’s get started!

3 Pigs Instant Blitz from Gaming Corps is the latest title in the relatively new Instant Blitz format. When the original, Instant Blitz, launched in May, I described it as a mix of slots, scratchcards, and Slingo, and that still feels pretty accurate. It basically plays like a slot with a few extra mechanics that give the experience more structure and make the wins less straightforward. It won’t be for everyone, but it’s kind of fun. This latest release brings Gaming Corps’ 3 Pigs IP into the mix, with bonuses that can expand the grid, add multipliers, or trigger extra rounds.

As predicted, the Power Joker series from AvatarUX has played out like the Crypto Crown series with 3 variations (40, 20, and 10), each with different numbers of paylines. In Power Joker 10, aside from aiming to land vanilla wins on the 5 x 3 grid, you have the Expanding Wilds, plus a Jackpot Mini Game where a board of 18 spaces is revealed. In the latter, you’re aiming to uncover 3 matching jackpot values while avoiding 3 Bomb symbols. It’s not bad but did we need 3 variations of this slot? The answer is no.

The first of 4 titles from BGaming this week is Fortune Trio: Minions of Fu, a low-medium volatility slot with 95.05% RTP and only a 2,000x max win. It’s also a ‘3 pot’ game, if you didn’t notice from the name. For the bonus, players can land a round with Giant Symbols, one with only high-paying symbols, and a standard Hold & Win round. It’s got a strong Chinese theme and the visuals somehow look really nice and crisp, but many players will already be bored of this format, including me.

I know Monster Munch is the name of a certain brand of chips in the UK, but Monster Munch Stacks is a new slot from Backseat Gaming. Can this one move beyond the usual dry feeling I get from Backseat slots? For a start, it reminds me of Gargantoonz from Play’n GO, with loads of small, colorful monsters spread across a fairly sizeable grid using a tumbling cluster pays mechanic.

You’ll want to land 5 or more together, while Magnets, Wilds, and Wild Multipliers help keep things moving. Strangely, Coins can also land, and during the free spins (triggered by 3+ Wilds), you’ll only see Wilds, Coins, or dead symbols. Some of these elements feel a little incongruous, and to answer my question, this still felt really dry to me.

Queenie I Love Hearts from Wild Streak Gaming is themed around the Queen of Hearts from Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland, so the symbols on the 5 x 3 grid include the Queen herself, the White Rabbit, the Mad Hatter’s hat, and so on. The rules are quite complex, but the short version is that Red, Blue, and Green Hearts can appear in the base game. As well as acting as Wilds, they can trigger the Wild Wheel, which contains segments offering various prizes, such as cash prizes, win multipliers, or a path straight to the Hold & Win round. Here, you can land more Hearts instead of coins. It all feels rather convoluted, though, with features like a spinning reel that can determine the value of a Heart. The graphics look dated and cheap too.

Can Dr Zappo from Hacksaw Gaming make us feel better? Well, he seems like the mad-professor kind of doctor, drawn in an art style reminiscent of cartoon characters like Rick and Morty. This slot also perhaps has a touch of Futurama. Wins play out across 14 paylines, while Wild Eyeball symbols can also appear, functioning much like the Laser Shark symbol in Jaws of Justice, another Hacksaw slot from the end of last year.

The Wild Eyeballs fire beams in three directions – up, diagonal left, or diagonal right – and whenever a beam passes over an existing Wild, it adds a Multiplier. There are also Energy Fields along three sides of the grid that reflect the beams back into play. This can create some interesting patterns of Wilds and Multipliers, helping form winning combinations across the 14 paylines. The bonus game simply increases the chances of landing Wild Eyeballs, making Dr Zappo essentially Jaws of Justice with a new theme and a few tweaks.

Book of Hidden Tombs by BGaming lands with a 97% RTP, which is nice to see. The base game is pretty standard, with 10 paylines across the 5 x 3 grid. The main two things to be aware of are that the Book symbol acts as both a Wild and a Scatter, with 3 triggering the Free Spins. There’s also a Scatter Collector above the reels, which can be randomly activated by a Scatter, and if this is on when the bonus round is triggered, you get Super Free Spins instead. Normal Free Spins give any symbol the chance to become a Golden Expanding symbol for the duration of the round, while Super Free Spins add a progressive multiplier that doubles every time a spin produces no win. So while Book of Hidden Tombs isn’t groundbreaking, it does offer something a little different.

The third BGaming title is Triple Nipple which is definitely something…ahem, attention grabbing. As it’s not a slot, I won’t give you a full breakdown, but I can imagine this instant game will be very popular with a certain demographic.

Nugget Ridge from Relax Gaming uses that old-timey mining theme we often see, including in TNT Bonanza from Booming Games. It’s pretty played out by this point, and the gameplay here isn’t much more original either, with Expanding Wilds and respins triggered by landing 2 Bonus symbols. A bit of a dud from Relax, and I have a feeling the artwork might be AI-generated too.

Miss Cherry Wild Frames completes our quartet of BGaming titles this week. It’s a sequel to Miss Cherry Fruits from 5 years ago, a simple game with Expanded Wilds and respins, pretty similar to Nugget Ridge. But Miss Cherry Wild Frames ups the RTP to 97.00% and the max win to 3,000x, while expanding the grid to 5 x 4.

There’s also the new Wild Frames feature, of course. So when a Special symbol (heart) appears on the reels, the cell is framed by golden lines, and all these golden frames become sticky for 10 spins. Then, during the tenth spin they turn into Wild symbols, helping form wins on the 20 paylines. The Miss Cherry character seems based on Jessica Rabbit, creating cartoon competition for BGaming’s other sexy title this week, Triple Nipple.

I’m starting to get trauma responses every time I see ‘3’ or anything referencing that number in a slot title, but here we are again with 3 Magic Piggy Banks – Hacksaw’s third 3 pot title, following Tres Pinatas and 3 Cursed Chests. This one uses the Magic Piggy IP for its theme, but it’s essentially a reskin of 3 Cursed Chests. Once again, landing the one on the right (Purple, in this case) creates that annoying circular feeling where the round leads to the free spins, which can then lead to another 3 pot round. I don’t really know what else to say. I mentioned Hacksaw going public in a previous roundup, and it feels like we’re watching the studio jump the shark before our eyes.

Goblin Cave from Popiplay has a decent max win of 15,000x, but not the best RTP at 95.97%. As for gameplay, this is a cascading scatter pays slot with freaky, colorful goblins as the symbols. Global multipliers can land randomly in the free spins, but overall it’s quite simple. If you want something straightforward and want to look at strange goblin pirates on-screen for a while, this game could be for you.

Wrapping things up in this section, we have Carnival Joker from Slotmill. The whole ‘joker’ thing doesn’t usually fill me with confidence, but Slotmill rarely puts out a dud, so I was curious to see what this one was about. Then I loaded it up and realized it’s basically a reskin of 2024’s Raging Riches – all ways pays on a 4-5-5-5-4 grid, with pretty much the same stats. In fact, the max win is actually lower here. Hopefully Slotmill comes back with something a little more original next time.

Game of the Week

Outsourced 2 follows on from Outsourced, which came out 2 years ago. In the meantime we had Outsourced Slash Game and Outsourced Payday, but neither of those endured like the original, known for its high volatility and relatively common max win hits (of 5,000x).

The core of the game in Outsourced 2 is still an all ways pays system with Print Spins, where winning squares respin with a multiplier attaching, and this multiplier will keep growing as long as the cell respins keep coming. There’s a very similar system in Seamen, which led some fans to criticize that game.

Nolimit City are definitely relying on their old IPs and just general past ideas more and more these days, but does Outsourced 2 do enough to justify its existence? I think so.

Added in are Infectious xWays, rather than just standard xWays. This means that the xWays mechanic spreads to all of the same symbol on the grid on that spin. Also, the xNudge Wild feature has been upgraded to an xNudge Balkan Wild which can nudge 0-999 steps! Then, an Elevator symbol can reveal a blocker or an instant bonus mode. Plus, the max win has been upped to 11,111x, but only time will tell how achievable it is.

The theme has changed from one focused on knockoff products made in a factory to a construction site in the Balkans. It’s a bit random, but I guess the joke is about questionable Balkan building standards? As for the music, we get the usual wacky Nolimit City styles with funny and strange, on-the-nose lyrics. By the way, in the bonus round, it’s still the case that cell multipliers from Print Spins stay sticky for the duration of the round.

Overall, Outsourced 2 does enough to feel like a proper sequel rather than just another reskin of the original. The familiar Print Spins are still at the heart of the game, but the new mechanics give it enough extra chaos to make it worth playing if you enjoyed the first one.

With the higher max win and some interesting additions, it’s certainly one of the more worthwhile Nolimit City sequels from recent memory, and it fits as our Game of the Week.
